This book is designed for anybody that supervises people, leads teams, or runs a business. It is designed for the CEO and [perhaps more importantly] his staff. It is designed for the senior-level manager in a small company, or the middle manager in a large company. In addition, it is designed for anybody else who wants to get some understanding for why so many companies engage in so many seemingly insane and dysfunctional practices, and more importantly, what can be done to combat them.
In his book, Tom provides methods which are more data-driven, humane, and logical. This book is intended to help you get an edge over the competition, whether the competition is the company down the road, or the bozo in the next cubicle.
